Monday Morning Question With Krissy

What's the worst thing you did as a little kid? (smeared cheese on the wall, accidentally called Japan, called one of your mom's friends' fat, inadvertently downloaded Pentagon files to your dad’s computer, etc.)

I was very young when I had a slight slip up with the lord's prayer! I have highlighted the word that I used Instead of the original.

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from Mabel
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory.                                     For ever and ever. Amen

Mabel, being my mother! lol. Oh dear! My sis has just pointed out that this was said to the Sunday School teacher who was mortified!!! Now that has made me laugh! lol ;-)

The real naughty ones were posted in my older entry called: My Rosebud .

Take care Back soon. xx

Anticipation

Hello Everyone. My hair has turned out a really nice shade of red. Not too bright though! I also didn't manage to stain anything In the bathroom either! which is always a bonus. lol. It's not been the best of weekends so far. After receiving some bad news last Thursday, I am finding myself all over the place at the moment.  I can't seem to stop crying and snapping at everyone. It has opened up some Issues for me and  I know I am not feeling right and hate being this way. My test results can't come back soon enough. I have to somehow try to unwind and pick myself up.

I used to enjoy listening to classical music with a glass of wine and a ciggy. It feels strange to think I don't smoke or drink now. They were always my little comforters. Any crisis and I would reach for a fag and/or a drink. It always seemed to take the edge of things. I don't have these feelings numbed anymore so It's a little harder to get over things. I have consumed enough cups of tea to fill a cafe!!.

I wanted to have a wonderful happy weekend where I could get more done in the house but, I don't have the energy or drive, basically, my get up and go, has got up and gone! lol.  I am quite secure and content In my jammies chilling out here, doing what I love best, talking to you all. I went on a wee mission to find the name of my favourite classical song, as I have loved It for years and never knew It's name. I will leave you  now with:

"O Mio Babbino Caro".

O mio babbino care,
Mi piace, e bello bello,
Vo andare in Porta Rossa
A comperar l anello!
Si,si ci voglio andare
e se l amassi indarno
andrei sui Ponte Vecchio
ma per buttaarmi in Arno!
Mi struggo e mi tormento!
O Dio, vorrei morir!
Babbo, pieta, pieta!
Babbo, pieta, pieta!

Translation

Oh my dear daddy
I love him, he is so handsome
I want to go to Porta Rossa
to buy the ring!
Yes, yes, I mean it
And if my love were in vain
I would go to Ponte Vecchio
and throw myself in the Arno!
I fret and suffer torments!
Oh God, I would rather die!
Daddy, have pity, have pity!
Daddy, have pity, have pity!

I hope you enjoyed It. Take care, Back soon. xx

Red

Hello Everyone.

I really enjoyed my Easter weekend. The whole weekend was a very chilled out occassion. Plenty of chocolate eaten and some good movies watched. The Roast on the Sunday was perfect, It just finished of the day nicely. On the Monday I decided to wait until mister man had laid down on the couch for a nap and then I set to work.

I smuggled the paint, brushes and ladders Into the bathroom and got started changing the walls to a lovely fresh white! lol. Why did I do this quietly? I could just picture the conversation: "Don't go starting that, you won't get It finished" or "Don't do that today, we will do It soon" lol Yeah right!. I just had to crack on and get a good whack done before he woke up, then ask him to do all the top bits as I can't reach!!! lol women! What are we like?

I got on fine until I heard raised voices from the livingroom. I laid everything down, went through asking what was going on and In a rather sarcastic voice heard the words "What are you doing through there? Cooking?" I was absolutely covered In white paint! I rolled my eyes and headed back to the bathroom.lol Oh Men! What are they like?

Had a moment In the supermarket tonight. It was a very familiar moment Indeed! lol. It took me back to one of my earlier entries:  Going Blonde This time I was alone which was good! and, I was staring at a different colour of hair dye. A very bright Red one!!!  I always follow this pattern of needing change, so the obvious easy answer Is to alter my hair. Always black or dark brown and on special occassions of stress we attempt blonde! lol

I will, of course let you all know the outcome tomorrow. I have had withdrawals this week from The Weekly Sentence. At least If my hair turns out to be a complete disaster, I still have Val to give me a new set of 6 letters to cheer me up!! lol  ;-) Take Care, Back Soon. xx

P.S. I got the bathroom finished with a little assistance on the top bits!! ;-) lol x

Happy Easter

Hello Everyone. I think things are looking up a bit. I am starting to feel a lot better. I think these new tablets are helping, Wahey! I will be swinging from the lights before we know It! lol. I asked my wee treasure what she wanted to do on Easter Sunday and she thought for a bit and asked If we could all spend the day together watching movies. I reckon she must have been reading my mind! lol. I went shopping and we will have a rather yummy Sunday dinner with Chicken, Roast Potatoes, Carrots, Yorkshire Pudding's, and loads of gravy. Mmmm.

I am sure the easter bunny will do his usual good deed and leave a mountain of scrumptious choccy eggs all over my livingroom carpet!! lol.  He is In bother If he doesn't! lol. We always ventured up hills In the past to roll our eggs downwards. This was something that we were taught from an early age, to roll our eggs before we ate them to symbalise the stone rolling away. I have passed on this tradition and have found myself saying In a rather loud voice: "Roll the egg! Don't throw It" lol.  It was always more humourous for the pair of them to see how far It could go!! lol

The thought of staying home this year Is just perfect for me. A real chilled out Easter Is definately on my list. A few years ago, when I was well and reasonably fit, We all ventured up a rather steep hill armed with the rucksack filled with a picnic and wee treasure's eggs. I only really remember running, to get away from a ram chasing me, and getting caught up In a fence, while mister man and wee treasure were almost purple with laughter!! lol.

I hope you all have a fabulous Easter, whether you stay In or venture out. I want to leave you with something that was sent to me In an email by a lovely lady. I was so touched, I just have to share It with you all. I am sure you will love It, as much as me. Take Care Back Soon. xx

Awwwww….

This woman foundthis lion hurt and about to die. She took him  home and took care of him. When the lion was better she called the local zoo. This was the reaction she got when the lion saw her. Enjoy :)

The Lovebug

Hello everyone. I have had so much time to sit and think this weekend, I found myself wandering around In the past, somewhere that was both exhilirating and devastating at the same time! lol.  If you, yourself pause, for a moment, and think back to your first love, Do you smile? or get that warm, and fuzzy feeling? Do you remember thinking, this is the real thing? The word Love is such a small word for such a huge meaning! lol.

Thinking back to mine, I remember feeling like a demented stalker, unable to think clearly or focus. I could feel my tummy churn like a washing machine on fast spin and that was just when I heard his name mentioned!. It was an obsession like no other. It was never straight forward In my world, not like the other's round about me. I was different.

I wasn't considered part of a group. An outsider In a small town that didn't accept newcomer's and quite obviously never would, and yet, there I was, completely smitten, head over heels In love. I was a secret. I was young and nieve. I played neil diamond's album The Jazz Singer over and over, secretly wishing, I wasn't a secret, that I could shout It from the rooftops. I was a girlfriend and I was so happy, It had It's downside though, It made me feel physically sick whenever I tried to kiss!!. lol.  Not the most romantic scene for a kiss, with me having to either head to the nearest toilet, or try to get some water!! lol.

I plodded on until the Lovebug bit me once again, knowing this time was for keeps, didn't stop me from  wondering for long enough, what If? but "If" never happened. It wasn't meant to be. When I heard the fateful words that he was getting married,  I was quietly hauled back to my past, It was right there and then, that a full stop had been placed against us forever.

I have so many mixed feelings looking back. I am older and wiser and very content with my lot.  It doesn't stop me pausing to remember or finding myself caught up In a dream where my memories can still run free. It IS better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all. Take Care, Back Soon.

A Quiet Day

Hello everyone,

Thank you all so much for popping over to see loopy loo! lol. There were a few technical Issue's that went way over the top of my head!! I usually manage to sort out little niggles or hiccups, but alas, not to be this time. I apologise for not getting round the journal's as much as I usually do, my mind just refuses to settle.I will get round them all very soon.

I have been struggling a lot last week, mainly with walking so today has been spent taking It easy. I long for the summer when I can hopefully get back to being "me" again. Getting tired of all the tests, Surprised they don't just hook me up to one big constant blood removing machine! lol. So greedy the amount they keep demanding! lol.

Anyway, I am not going to start babbling on about It until I get some good news. Just be ready for a "wee worry update". I will have to pop over to see Val now and get a look at those letters for this weeks Sentence. It just goes to show, that I have been slipping! Not winning this week just say's It all!!! lol. ;-)  Back Soon, Take Care. xx

Adventurous Passion Seductively Tickles My Senses

" 'Ello, 'Ello 'Ello"...

Hello everyone. I am delighted to win The  Sentence Of The Week Award again!! How nice. It really cheered me up aswell. I have it displayed proudly In my sidebar, I think I may just empty my sidebar and start collecting these! lol. It's not been the best week so far! lol. What with worrying about Mr Man and just earlier having 2 policemen knocking on my front door!. I almost fainted, when I saw the black uniform's through the glass window part.

I was, of course wearing my jammies, dressing gown and slippers on opening the door!  Typical! Anyway one of them said It was nothing serious but asked to come In. My heart was racing as I led them Into the kitchen. It transpired that the extremely old fruitcake of a woman that lives along the road from me had phoned them on my wee treasure!

I was rather speechless as he went on to say this nutty old so and so had accused her of picking the tops of her flowers. He said he never saw any tops lying around but had to look Into It! I spoke to my wee one In front of the officer's and she told them she hadn't done anything at all and I know when there Is truth or lies and I know that was the truth.

I couldn't really believe my ears that this was happening. This so called woman, phones the police every time someone walks up the public stairway past or beside her house. It's all open but she doesn't like anyone passing by and she also doesn't like children full stop. I once walked past her, to go to the post box just next to her house and she was very nice discussing the weather and her garden, after posting the letter, I returned to see her standing with her arms crossed, face scowling, muttering obscenities at me!!. I was only away 2 mins! lol.

I know I shouldn't think so little of her, when It Is quite plain to see that she Is not the full shilling, but one brick short of a wall, or a sandwich short of a picnic! lol. You get the Idea?

I can't help feeling so angry that I had to give our details over and yet we haven't done anything wrong. The police understood completely and said no further action would be taken. There was no action In the first place! Oh I'm really cross. I suggested that they look Into some kind of social worker because of her past enlightening them to the time she chased a 9yr old girl In her car!!! I also suggested they look at the number of times she has called the police as It was constant, and they said they would.

After they left I spoke with wee treasure and her friends and informed them not to go anywhere near the outside of her house again. I dont want to give her any reason to repeat this, I also hope she stays well away from me when I start doing my gardening In the spring, just In case my spade, fork, lawnmower or strimmer etc. accidently connects with her! lol.

Right! Rant over!! I feel so much better now. lol I'm determined not to let anyone drag me down so I think I will post the new sentence of the week to stay cheery.
Take Care, Back Soon.
